Meanie Miney Moe Live At Mad River For Childen’s Charity

without comments

The band is playing this Thursday June 25th at the Mad River Bar and Grill downtown on Market Street (corner of E Bay & N Market) from 6 until 9. This is a fund-raiser for the local Carolina Children’s Charity.

CCC is a local organization that raises money to help out with the medical bills for lowcountry kids who have gotten sick.

You may not know this but parts of Charleston have chosen NOT to allow firefighters to stand at intersections and collect money for this charity. This years annual campaign, held back in March, was roughly 50% below what they raised last year. As a result the CCC has partnered with the Mad River Bar and Grille to have a fund-raising event.

There is a $5 cover charge that goes to the charity and also gets you your first drink free. Inside there will be live music compliments of us, a silent auction, small food buffet, and for the ladies, firefighters behind the bar as guest bartenders.
