LowCountry BBQ Meatup

There is a lowcountry BBQ meatup at Dukes Bar B Q in Ridgeville, SC on Friday, June 25th, 2009 at 6.30pm.

It has excellent reviews, and although the pork and hash and country veggies are excellent, the fried chicken gets raved about too.

Social Media Club Charleston SC

This event is planned to start at 6:30 pm on Jun 23, 2009 at Maybank Hall, Room 100 at College of Charleston.

Join SMCC, in conjunction with the College of Charleston Graduate School, on Tuesday, June 23 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Maybank 100 on CofC campus downtown for a panel discussion on social media and news. Four local media professionals will discuss how they use social media to collect and disseminate information while engaging their audience . Panelists scheduled to attend include:

Glass Onion Beer Dinner

If you haven’t heard, Charleston Beer Exchange  are doing their first ever beer dinner with The Glass Onion restaurant in West Ashley this Thursday (June 25th) at 7:30pm.

This is going to be an amazing dinner featuring six scheduled courses (and likely a surprise or two) of locally sourced, incredible food paired with spectacular beers.  There will be live jazz and the dinner includes a special souvenir beer to take home! Here is a little peak at the menu:
