Rare Beer Tuesday, September 29th, 2009
As we do every Tuesday at 5pm, we’ll be tapping a super-extra-special keg on the growler station for growler fills! Yes, our everyday lineup of nine taps for growlers is always special but we save the rarest stuff for "Rare Beer Tuesday".
Our feature this week is a real stunner! We are very excited to announce that we will have The Bruery Autumn Maple! This is the ultimate pumpkin-ish seasonal for those who love pumpkin and also those don’t! This beer is a "Belgian-style Brown Ale brewed with yams, molasses, maple syrup and spices"! The Bruery’s own description: "We don’t need pumpkins in our beer! Big, bold, spicy, and oh so yammy, our delicious Brown Ale is perfect for those cold autumn nights." Or warm Charleston evenings. Whichever.
The Bruery (yes, read it like "brewery") is an amazing craft beer producer out of California that just arrived in South Carolina for the first time ever! The beers are spectacular and all produced in very small quantities. This will be the only draft appearance of Autumn Maple in the state.
